Our bridge events are varied. We offer…

 

… Regular round tables in the Hotel Köhler casting, always on the first Wednesday evening of every month, with topics for policy, Travel, Culture and Health.

 

… each month an offer for social gathering for inspections, BBQs and celebrations of Thanksgiving, Summer BBQ

 

… Desk, As in previous years in the German astronaut training center in Cologne, the museum "Point Alpha" to the former inner German border, to musical performances in Hamburg or the Oktoberfest in Munich.

 

… the bridge benefit concert series "We are the world" in the town hall of the university town of Gießen.

"Soziales Engagement"

 

Proceeds from bridge events we donate next to the transatlantic youth- and student exchanges regularly to social projects for children and young people in Central Hesse and beyond, as to the children's hospice service casting, the Red Cross and the Diaconate.

What is "THE BRIDGE" ?

"THE BRIDGE" is a German-American Club, in the Hotel Köhler, Westanlage 33 in Giessen in central Hesse on the first Wednesday of the month at 19:30 Clock strikes.

What we offer ?

Contacts with German and American families, Desk, Theaterbesuche, various lectures, a casual monthly meeting - the Stammtisch (s.o.) and traditional social encounters, such as BBQs, Damentreffen, Adventskaffe, Hiking, "Progressive Dinner" and much more.

Our goal ?

We strive to international friendship, Cultural exchanges and the like. One focus of our work is the exchange of students and the promotion.
