Our German-American club DIE BRÜCKE is the proud host of German-American Day 2025 of the VDAC. We congratulate the worthy winner of the Lucius D. Clay Medal Sheri Stern. We wish all guests pleasant days in the university town of Giessen.

The German-American Club Giessen-Wetzlar “THE BRIDGE” connects in Central Hesse since 1950 People this side of the Atlantic. And that very successful. The bridge members are here for a peaceful and friendly exchanges between the United States and Germany. In our regular club events, as the root table, the Goose dinner or a typical American BBQ we meet regularly. We take trips to interesting points of German and international history, science or cultural events. Every year we give in cooperation with the Federation of German-American Clubs (VDAC) Students from Giessen, Marburg to study or Wetzlar with a scholarship opportunity for a year at a U.S. university. We offer young people accompanied group trips to the east of the United States with the capital Washington or the “Wild West” of the states. Young Americans learn in exchange our beautiful country to know and appreciate. This is all the bridge. For the people of our countries. We invite you.
